Beef producers can learn the latest developments in the beef industry at the 2014 New York Farm Show, held Feb. 20-22 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.
The New York Beef Producers' Association will present a series of free beef programs all three days of the show. These programs are free to show visitors and will be held at the NYBP display in the dairy building.
Seminar Times and Topics:
10 a.m. - Fitting Cattle for Exhibition or Show
11 a.m. - Effective Fencing and Handling
1 p.m. - Grazing and Pasture Management
2 p.m. - Grazing Forage Selection and Quality Feed Making
3 p.m. - Name That Beef Cut
Tasty treat returns
Yes, the popular hot beef sundae will be back! New York Beef Industry Council will be serving those bowls of buttery mashed potatoes over slow-roasted beef, topped with gravy plus Cheddar cheese and a cherry tomato at 11 a.m. each show day.

At the door, admission is $5 and children under age 18 are free. Free parking and bus shuttles are available.
