About 17,000 people at World Pork Expo. Steve Meyer says growth in continuing in hog herd. Productivity in hog herd increasing. Cost of production held in check. Cost of production is $60 per cwt now. Prices received by pork producers in upper $70 for summer. For all of this year, should be profitable for pork industry.
